• Services with DJI Matrice 300 + LiDAR ZENMUSE L1 system (with RTK)
  • The LiDAR (light detection and ranging) systems used by 3edata allow the capture of a three-dimensional and coloured point cloud. Each pulse can have up to 3 different returns and a density in working environments of more than 150 points/square metre. Typically for forestry applications a repetitive scanning pattern is used with a field of view (FOV) of 70.4º (horizontal) and 4.5º (vertical) with a 50% overlap between passes.
  • The applications of LiDAR systems are manifold. Services with this type of sensor can be oriented towards topographical surveys or the three-dimensional representation of a vegetation cover. 3edata specialises in the analysis of vegetation cover and, in the particular case of forestry systems, in timber inventory and volume measurements.
  • The products generated include 3D representations of the scanned surface, but also the assessment of the existing biomass, the volume of wood (specific models for Pinus radiata, P. sylvestris and P. pinaster; Eucalyptus globulus and E. nitens), and assessments of fire defence infrastructures (measurement of safety distance in biomass management belts).
