This is a European Project for Adaptation to Climate Change in which Lugo City Council is participating as coordinator, the University of Santiago de Compostela and the Polytechnic University of Madrid as associated beneficiaries, and Lugo County Council as a co-financing entity.

The project has a budget of 3,588,551 euros to be executed from 2016 to 2020.

The main objective of LIFE Lugo+Biodinámico is to put into practice in the city of Lugo an innovative urban planning strategy intended for actions of a mid-scale scale in neighbourhoods or residential areas in order to achieve resilient urban networks adapted to the consequences and effects of climate change.

Among the actions of the project, we can highlight the elaboration of a Catalogue of urban design solutions to be applied in the Strategy of Climate Adaptation in residential areas, the elaboration of a Biodynamic Master Plan of ecological infrastructures, the recovery of a wetland in an industrial area, the establishment of demonstration plots of native hardwoods, the creation of an arboretum reproducing natural habitats of Galicia or the design and construction of a structural wood building \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Impulso Verde\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" as a reference in the fight against Climate Change.

The work of 3edata includes the tasks of direction, management, administrative and financial control of the LIFE Lugo+Biodynamic project, as well as attending to and solving the requirements requested by the European Commission through EASME.
