Eurosite is the network for Europe’s natural site managers, bringing together non-governmental and governmental organisations, and individuals and organisations committed to the same vision, “A Europe where nature is cared for, protected, restored, and valued by all“.
Eurosite, founded in 1989, held its annual general meeting last Friday 30 October, at which a new Working Strategy (2021-2025) was approved and the Council and Board Members were renewed. The incorporation of the European Land Conservation Network into Eurosite was also highlighted, and the modification of the Eurosite Statutes for it was approved.
3edata has participated in Eurosite in the general meeting as an associate member, incorporated in 2019, making itself known to the other participating entities.
3edata also forms part of the Eurosite Remote Sensing Support Group (ERSSG).
In relation to Eurosite, it should be noted that the Eurosite Annual Meeting 2020: ‘Zooming’ in on European natural site management – from plan to action, will be held from 2 to 5 November. This year it will be held online due to the impact of the COVID19. More information:
