The scientific article, LIFE Lugo+Biodynamic. Planning a multi-ecological neighbourhood as a model of urban resilience, prepared by 3edata and the Lugo City Council, was presented at the PLEA2020 International Conference, held in A Coruña from 1 to 3 September.
This article shows how municipal initiatives in collaboration with innovative activities undertaken in a scientific context have made it possible to apply demonstrative mechanisms for adapting to climate change in medium-sized cities.
The presentation of the article was made by the authors, Boris Hinojo and Susana Martínez from 3edata; and Susana Penedo from Lugo City Council, for whom they had information about the work developed in the LIFE Lugo+Biodynamic project.

PLEA2020 was the 35th Congress on Sustainable Architecture and Urban Design. Organised this year by the University of A Coruña, this edition focuses on the Planning of Post-Carbon Cities, on the exploration of the interplay between research, technology and design in defining and planning future cities. These themes are totally in line with the LIFE Lugo+Biodynamic project, promoted by the Lugo City Council, in which the Universities of Santiago de Compostela, Madrid Polytechnic and Lugo County Council also participate. Like all LIFE projects, it is co-financed by the European Union’s financial instrument for the environment (LIFE).
LIFE Lugo+Biodinámico has the participation of 3edata in the management, technical, administrative and financial control of the project
